Our toddler program continues to provide children with a child-caregiver relationship that fosters a warm, loving and stimulating environment where the foundation for trust continues to emerge. Toddlers are struggling for independence and self-mastery. With this, the fear of separation often arises and can be the hardest part of the day for both parent and child. Teachers are there to help by engaging the child into the group activity, or engaging in a conversation that creates continuity between home and center.
Parents will be invited to a google chat room for both the entire class and an individual room for just your child. Here, you may check in with teachers, see pictures and send a morning note with any information you may find pertinent to your child's day.
Items to bring to daycare:
- Crib sheet for cot
- Blanket
- "Lovey" if needed
- Diapers/Wipes
- Lunch/Snacks/Water Bottle
- Pacifier (if applicable)
